My daughter of 11 has sufferd with severe eczima all of her life . We have been given endless ointment and steriods that in my opinion has not worked . We visited Dr Britton and he was amazing , he gave us a new method and creams that worked fantastic in just 3 days she was clear it's unbelievable , many many stressful days and nights with my daughter suffering having to take time off school it's all finally over she has been given a new lease of life and such a short time . I can't stress enough how much he has helped us .thankyou Dr Britton . Sean brittain (Jazmins dad).

I have just had knee surgery in this hospital and was very happy with the care I received. I was looked after exceptionally well by all the nurses, the consultants and theatre staff and was treated with friendliness and respect by all. My room was very comfortable and clean and I cannot fault my care in any way at all.

I have just come out of the Spire Hospital in Hull after Spinal Surgery. I found the hospital staff all to be helpful, caring and polite. My room was clean and tidy and the food and drinks very good and well presented. I felt very well cared for by the nurses looking after me pre and post surgery, both day and night. The theatre staff were caring and supportive and put me at my ease. The Surgeon and Anaesthetist were both outstanding. If you have to go into hospital I think the Spire in Hull a very good choice.

Wonderful staff and hospital, all the nurses where professional and made me feel at ease. I'm normally extremely nervous with hospitals and everything that goes with it but from checking in to checking out, I never had a worry.

Excellent hospital, very clean and friendly; quick efficient service and wonderful atmosphere. Only a few points that made my stay a little less than perfect then I expected; I was put in a lovely room every time I visited, but the last visit was for surgery where i was put in a room with an older bed that only moved up the head up and down by metal bars. This was disappointing when there were multiple empty rooms over my stay with fully mobile electric beds, that would have helped me during recovery; as i really struggled to get comfortable and needed extra pain relief to allow me to sleep in that bed. I was sick after my surgery because I was given tablet form pain relief when I was on a liquid diet due to stomach surgery and my lack of esophageal motility. All staff were wonderful and treated me with respect and very friendly, however because it is a general ward, the staff did not all know my situation and couldn't answer a lot of questions and had to bring the wonderful surgeon in to answer them. I didn't get to have any liquid food for over a day because no one knew what i should be having so did not suggest or offered anything and catering staff only offered toast etc that I couldn't have. it took the surgeon coming in on day two, to say I needed to show I could swallow something before I could be discharged. I was then helped to get something but was still not appropriate as the only things available where dairy that I can't have and porridge that they ended up giving me that was too thick and lumpy when i should have had clear liquid broth of some sort. However, I would definitely use there service again and really appreciate the rest of the great care I received!

I was made to feel important by staff who treated me with respect and consideration? I was given my own room which appeared clean and comfortable. Everything ran smoothly and to schedule. Staff explained things at each stage.
